“I have never seen them so close. There were a couple that were a couple hundred yards offshore,” said Larry Tiller, a retired Healdsburg organic farmer and whale-watching docent for Stewards of the Redwoods.
The article notes that a boat is the best way to see the whales and that commercial fishermen are seeing the whales each day as they fish off Bodega Bay.
